Drivers electric window will not go down

Switch on door clicks and hazard light flick on

Passenger windows still lower from drivers door

Rear window heater switch when pressed starts hazards light for few seconds heater works but illumination on drivers door switches goes out

 

If door trim needs removing any good tips

Hi there

You need to check the wiring on drivers door trunking for breakages and bare wires, this is a common problem also the rear tail gate door trunking can have the same problem. The constant opening and shutting of the doors breaks/weakens the wiring through the rubber trunking.

If you go to the FAQ's in the technical section you will find detailed instructions on removing door cards and wiring repairs.
